The Cooperative Maravilha is a coop. located in Morro da Providencia, a favela in Rio de Janeiro. It is a group majorly composed, but not exclusively, by women, that aims for the socioeconomic and dignified inclusion of workers from the region in decent jobs in the textile sector.
At beGlobal, Cooperativa Maravilha is one of the main local focal points in favelas. They are the interlocutors of the territories of Morro da Providencia, and it is because of their partnership that we enhance the network, locally articulate, and develop dialogues with other actors in the favela. From their part, they can exchange good practices with other local initiatives from other parts of the world.
